March has been a month of blessings and celebration for the St. Mary’s community! With grateful hearts, we marked two significant milestones: the 183rd anniversary of St. Mary’s Primary School and the Platinum Jubilee of St. Mary’s College. These historic moments were a testament to God’s grace and the enduring legacy of Catholic education in Above Rocks.
The celebrations reached a crescendo with a powerful Peace Day March, a symbol of unity and hope. Chaired by St. Mary’s Catholic Church, the March brought together St. Mary’s College, St. Mary’s Primary School, the Above Rocks Clinic, the Above Rocks Police, and various churches in the community. Shoulder to shoulder, students, educators, healthcare professionals, law enforcement, and faith leaders walked as one, spreading a message of peace, love, and solidarity.
This vibrant display of faith and community spirit was not just a commemoration—it was a call to action, reminding us all of our shared responsibility to foster peace and goodwill. As we move forward, we continue to pray for God’s blessings upon our institutions, our community, and our mission of service.
May the spirit of March inspire us throughout the year!
